Both leadership teams include alumni of CoverMyMeds, and also share a mission of helping patients remain adherent to their prescriptions, while improving their long-term health outcomes.

Today, ScriptDrop Inc., a healthcare technology company focused on nationwide prescription access, and Redi.Health, provider of the leading health management technology that puts patient support in your pocket, are announcing a strategic partnership that improves patient access to information and provides tools that help them manage their prescriptions, and thus, their quality of life.

“Both leadership teams include alumni of CoverMyMeds, and also share a mission of helping patients remain adherent to their prescriptions, while improving their long-term health outcomes,” said Amanda Epp, CEO of ScriptDrop. “We fill in different gaps in the patient experience, so together, we’re really completing the circuit of healthcare.”

With this partnership, Redi.Health and ScriptDrop are delivering a streamlined solution for patients, providers, pharmacists, PBMs, and pharmaceutical manufacturers to better understand and manage medications. The joint offering combines ScriptDrop’s home prescription delivery solution with Redi.Health’s platform of medication reminders, symptom trackers, manufacturer support and more. This pairing will ensure patients have dependable access to prescriptions and can improve their health outcomes, while also helping build trust between patients and pharmaceutical manufacturers.

A new study shows that ScriptDrop delivery recipients who seamlessly transition into Redi.Health’s digital health management are 4x more likely to use adherence support services, and 72% of patients who use ScriptDrop delivery continue regularly receiving their medication. As Redi.Health and ScriptDrop continue to work together, these numbers will undoubtedly increase.

“We understand the vital role medication management plays in quality of life for patients, and so providing digital support for delivery plus access to information about these medications is a game-changer for patients and the healthcare industry alike,” said Luke Buchanan, co-founder and CEO of Redi.Health. ”As Columbus, Ohio-based companies, Redi.Health and ScriptDrop are aligned in many ways, but at the core is our focus on helping deliver a patient-centric approach that results in better outcomes for everyone.”

In an effort to accelerate the development of innovative drug therapies, Redi.Health and ScriptDrop are already looking ahead to shared clinical trials. With ScriptDrop’s nationwide presence and a user base that spans many demographics, this partnership will also help support the identification and recruitment of eligible and highly diverse patients, including those in rural areas.
