Rhode Island Endodontics’ website (https://www.rhodeislandendo.com) provides a platform for patients to learn about the revolutionary treatments offered. The practice is proud to offer a wide range of general, restorative, and cosmetic dental services to meet the needs of patients in Warwick, RI, and surrounding areas.

The practice is led by Dr. Usman Fazli, a graduate of Boston University’s Goldman School of Dental Medicine and the University of Rochester’s Eastman Institute of Oral Health. He then returned to Boston University to become an endodontist before opening his own practice here in Warwick. Dr. Fazli is a former Captain in the United States Army Reserves, a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontists, as well as a member of the American Association of Endodontics, the American Dental Association, the Rhode Island Dental Association, and the Royal College of Dentists in Canada.

“Our goal is to help you achieve optimal oral health and a beautiful smile,” said Dr. Fazli. “We are thrilled to welcome new patients to our Warwick office and provide them with top-notch care.”

Dr. Fazli is joined by a team of endodontic and dental professionals who are dedicated to patient experience. Rhode Island Endodontics is equipped with the latest in endodontic technology, like cone beam scanner 3D imaging, digital intraoral cameras, and electronic apex locators. The practice offers a wide range of services including:

  • Root canal therapy: Root canal therapy treats infections of the pulp tissue within the tooth. The procedure is performed by opening the crown of the tooth, cleaning the canals of the tooth, then sealing it.
  • Endodontic retreatment: When a root canal doesn’t work as intended and causes issues weeks or months later, endodontic retreatment may be necessary in order to save the tooth. Endodontic retreatment is intended to clear out the former root canal filling, cleaning, and resealing.
  • Endodontic surgery: Endodontic surgery, or apical surgery, is sometimes needed to remove infected root tips or nearby tissue. After apical surgery, patients are prescribed pain medication for the healing process.
  • Cracked teeth treatment: Teeth can crack due to age, hard foods, teeth grinding, or facial trauma. Treatment for a cracked tooth varies based on the type of crack and may include root canal therapy or the placement of a crown or implant.
  • Pulpotomy: A tooth’s pulp is the inner tissue protected by the tooth’s enamel and structure. When the pulp of a baby tooth becomes infected, the removal is referred to as a pulpotomy.
  • Dental trauma treatment: Traumatic facial injuries can result in lost teeth, dislodged teeth, or teeth that have been knocked out. An endodontist can determine the correct treatment to save the tooth
