Radsource, a leader in radiology clinical services and provider of Picture Archiving and Communication Systems (PACS), completed 14 installations of ProtonPACS for both new customers as well as expansions for existing customers in the fourth quarter of 2020.
In Q4, Radsource installed ProtonPACS at a renal clinic in Oregon, a spine institute in New Hampshire, and a hospital in Arizona, along with installations at multiple other healthcare facilities across the country.
“In a year of unexpected change and challenges, I am very pleased with what our team has accomplished,” stated Dr. Mark Awh, President and CEO of Radsource. “When the Covid-19 lockdown began in March, we were able to quickly pivot to working remotely with no significant interruption to our operations and customer service. This should give our customers tremendous confidence in the quality and adaptability of our team.”
Radsource completed a total of 42 installations of ProtonPACS in 2020, including Oregon-based Northwest Renal Clinic (NWRC) in the fourth quarter.
NWRC provides care for patients with kidney disease at eight main offices, one ambulatory surgery center, seven outreach clinics, and throughout local area hospitals. The clinic urgently needed a new PACS solution to support multiple locations and improve imaging workflow. They selected ProtonPACS and went live with the installation in Q4.
“ProtonPACS delivered the improved functionality and workflow optimization that we needed to keep pace with growth and improve patient care,” stated Jerimi Boston, IT Project Manager at NWRC. “The implementation process was handled smoothly with excellent support, and in an expedited timeframe. We believe ProtonPACS is a solid solution for our imaging needs.”
