Promises Behavioral Health Welcomes Brian Stoesz as Vice President of Operations Development

In my role as Vice President of Operations Development, I want to bring my thoughtful leadership to Promises and help this organization build an incredible portfolio of innovative, high-quality behavioral health treatment centers.

Promises Behavioral Health, a leader in the behavioral health field, announced the addition of Brian Stoesz as its Vice President of Operations Development. With over 35 years of professional experience, Brian Stoesz is a leader in target acquisitions that promote organizational growth. He also has expertise in laying the foundational groundwork for targeted growth opportunities and has a keen eye for establishing leadership roles within those new markets.

After working through his own addiction challenges over 35 years ago, Brian chose a path with which many in the recovery community are familiar. With the drive to make a difference in the lives of people struggling with substance use disorders, Brian decided to pursue both his undergraduate and master’s degrees in leadership and psychology at Duquesne University. During his time as a counselor in residential addiction rehabilitation, Brian found that he had a passion for helping people find healing and had a clear understanding of how to help treatment centers on a larger scale through his leadership and administration skills. Brian went on to work in a variety of leadership roles, citing his time at Summit Behavioral Health as his most recent career accomplishment. During his time with Summit, Brian was able to significantly grow Summit’s organizational portfolio to aid its reach and ability to help more people.

As the Vice President of Operations Development with Promises Behavioral Health, Brian will utilize this experience to identify specific locations for future growth opportunities, research the marketplaces within those locations and work to build a solid foundation for each new facility. He will also help ascertain quality leadership for these facilities after the initial establishment period and aid in transitioning operations over to the future market CEOs. Brian hopes that within this role, he can help grow the Promises family in a way that is not only thoughtful but also swift and meaningful.

“My experience within the behavioral health field materialized from my own addiction and my passion to make a difference in the lives of people who still suffer,” said Brian. “In my role as Vice President of Operations Development, I want to bring my thoughtful leadership to Promises and help this organization build an incredible portfolio of innovative, high-quality behavioral health treatment centers.”

With Brian playing a large role in these operational efforts, Promises Behavioral Health is stepping into 2021 with a growth mindset and market strategy that will push the organization closer to becoming a national standard in behavioral health care. Along with national recovery communities, the mental health and addiction population can look forward to these support efforts as Promises Behavioral works to ensure individuals can get access to the help they need, no matter where they are in the United States.
