“We are creating a continuum of care where people can engage us at any point in their recovery journey, whether that be for detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient care, or telehealth services.”

Promises Behavioral Health (Promises), a prominent provider in addiction and mental health treatment, has announced operational changes and the addition of market CEOs to aid in creating a cohesive treatment model that will assist clients throughout every step of their recovery journey. Through shifting their current treatment continuum from a facility-based oversight to one that is market-based, Promises hopes to expand their engagement with clients and create a more accessible care model.

It is the vision of Promises that, as the company moves forward, resources will be dedicated to expanding its current markets, which includes growing the continuum of care by opening satellite locations in those existing markets. To assist with this vision, Promises Behavioral Health has added two new market CEOs and one interim market CEO, Ty Johnson, Deana Wilson and Barry Mannion, to manage this growth for the regional areas of the Promises’ family of treatment centers. Ty Johnson will be over the Pennsylvania market, Deana Wilson will aid the Dallas/Fort Worth area of Texas and Barry Mannion will act as interim market CEO to oversee the Florida region. Promises has also added a layer of clinical oversight to this reorganization of leadership by elevating current facility leaders in these markets to the role of Director of Clinical Operations. In this way, Promises Behavioral Health and its family of treatment centers can maintain a level of care that stretches across each facility and each future satellite location.

“Our goal is to improve our client’s experience and to orchestrate a longer length of engagement in our therapeutic milieu that will result in better treatment outcomes,” remarked Doug Ginn, Chief Operations Officer with Promises Behavioral Health. “We are creating a continuum of care where people can engage us at any point in their recovery journey, whether that be for detox, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient care, or telehealth services.”

These internal clinical and operational structural changes allow Promises to focus on the integrity of its clinical programs creating a seamless approach to addiction and mental health treatment for its clients. Doug mentioned in closing, “Most clinicians are more like artists. The more colors you have on your pallet to paint from, the richer the outcome can be.”

With the exciting addition of the market CEOs, the elevation of the Director of Clinical Operations and with the future opening of satellite locations, Promises Behavioral Health aims to provide accessible treatment no matter where that access point may be for the client. In this way, Promises can help heal individuals, and through healing individuals, communities will heal.
