Premier Radiology Services to be the First U.S. Teleradiology Provider to Connect to GLEAMER via the Blackford Platform

“BoneView from GLEAMER will improve efficiency, accuracy, and patient care by streamlining the fracture detection workflow, triaging positive cases, and routing the most challenging cases to the most qualified radiologist,” said Drew Gaudet, co-founder of Premier Radiology Services.

Premier Radiology Services today announced, in partnership with Blackford, that they are the first privately-held teleradiology organization to offer the BoneView from GLEAMER fracture detection AI solution.

This medical-grade artificial intelligence solution will augment Premier’s teleradiology interpretations and provide a higher level of service to customers. Premier partnered with Blackford in 2021 to integrate the Blackford Platform to evaluate, deploy and manage multiple diagnostic imaging analysis applications, protocol management tools, departmental workflow tools and AI applications, including the latest, BoneView from GLEAMER.

“It is exciting that the AI application performs as well on mobile x-ray scanners as on traditional CR/DR scanners and can process our required volume of thousands of cases per day.”

Blackford provides tailored tools and services for healthcare organizations, consulting with them to navigate the complex AI market, identify potential solutions to meet their challenges and evaluate those applications on their data to understand which performs best.

“We are excited to expand our relationship with Premier Radiology Services, helping them to impartially assess multiple AI solutions and to implement the best-fit AI application for fracture detection based on their data and success criteria,” said Ben Panter, CEO of Blackford Analysis. “With so many AI options for radiology, we continue to see the need to take time to evaluate AI in real-world scenarios, saving significant resources and enabling healthcare organizations to integrate AI into existing workflows to more quickly realize the ongoing value of AI.”
