We got better today, and I am excited to add these men to our already experienced team

PharmaPoint is proud to announce the addition of two new members to its corporate team. Bryan Self will serve as a solutions architect and Justin Ray as a business intelligence analyst.
“We got better today, and I am excited to add these men to our already experienced team,” says CEO, Mike Plaia. “As a company, we seek to hold each other accountable every day, and maintain a sense of urgency as we serve patients across the country with an excellent level of care. The ability to further diversify our XchangePoint platform, expand telepharmacy offerings, continue to leverage key partnerships and increase our customer base will result in repeated successes as we continue to disrupt the healthcare industry together.”
Self will concentrate on the continued rapid adoption and expansion of XchangePoint, PharmaPoint’s proprietary integrated workflow management system supporting medication management across care transitions. One of his initial focuses will center around the solution’s video conferencing functionality, which allows pharmacists to provide face-to-face consultations concerning medications in both the acute and ambulatory care settings.
“As a result of XchangePoint’s video conferencing capabilities, members of our pharmacy team are able to engage patients and caregivers in real-time, customizing treatments based on individual needs,” says Valerie Seidel, Vice President of Product Solutions for PharmaPoint. “Gaps in medication adherence can be identified immediately for prevention of potential adverse events or outcomes, and virtual visits offer the ability to discuss any recent changes in medications.”
Ray will focus on the business intelligence side of XchangePoint, utilizing analytic components to provide real-time key metrics and actionable insights back to key executives and personnel of a hospital or health system.
“The strategic data that can be pulled from XchangePoint allows patient interventions to be tracked, displaying both areas of success and needed improvement,” said Seidel. “In addition, detailed data at the patient level can be drilled down to easily and efficiently, stratified by facility, payer, provider and disease state. XchangePoint is truly the catalyst to convert analytics into action.”
