PetMed Express Chief Marketing Officer Dan Pingree and Vetster CEO Mark Bordo to present trends and opportunities in digital pet healthcare at annual conference in Orlando.

PetMed Express, Inc. (NASDAQ: PETS), Your Trusted Pet Health Expert®, and Vetster, the fastest growing pet telehealth platform, will participate in the 40th VMX Veterinary Meeting & Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando from January 14 through 18, 2023.

The companies are exhibiting at Booth 5342, where veterinary professionals can learn how Vetster’s platform is providing tools the industry needs to increase access to care, improve work-life balance, and lead to better pet health outcomes. In addition to showcasing the Vetster platform — where vets can sign up for free to create their own virtual practice and learn more about online prescribing through its online pharmacy, VetsterRxTM fulfilled by PetMeds — the two digital-first innovators will be showcasing the new VetLive service, which PetMeds and Vetster rolled out in October.

“PetMeds partnered with Vetster to create VetLive as a way for our 2 million pet owners to connect with Vetster’s licensed veterinarians anywhere across America, any time,” said Dan Pingree, Chief Marketing Officer of PetMed Express. “This game-changing solution deepens the relationship between veterinarians and pet owners by increasing proactive and preventative care, making it easier to obtain the prescription and OTC medication needed, and improving access to care.”

“Digital-first experiences are transforming pet health care for both consumers and veterinary professionals,” said Mark Bordo, CEO of Vetster. “Our partnership with PetMeds creates a full-service digital pet health experience – from appointment to prescription – that is designed to improve pet health outcomes. Veterinarians can now serve a wider community of pet owners, while leveraging the easy-to-use Vetster platform to provide virtual care.”

Pingree and Bordo will host a conference session at 5:45 p.m. (Eastern) on Monday, January 16, titled “Petcare: Innovations, Trends, and Customer Behavior in the Digital Age.” The two will discuss the growing partnership between PetMeds® and Vetster and how technology is connecting pet owners to veterinarians in the virtual space.

Hosted by the North American Veterinary Community (NAVC), the VMX Veterinary Meeting & Expo is a flagship education event that attracts more than 18,000 attendees, including over 10,000 veterinary professionals. For more information, go to navc.com/vmx.
