Osmosis.org, the leading health education platform that empowers millions of students, clinicians, caregivers, and patients worldwide, announced a new partnership with YouTube to digitally support the health information needs of YouTube’s more-than-two-billion signed-in monthly users.
Given the global reach of the Osmosis platform, including nearly two million subscribers to their Youtube channel, Osmosis is collaborating with YouTube to provide high-quality content on a variety of health topics, including COVID-19, and vaccines. When patients have access to engaging, reliable, and timely health information they can not only improve their own health outcomes, but also those around them.
“Osmosis is on the frontlines of providing learners, providers, and caregivers with the information they need to be successful in caring for patients, and we are excited to be part of YouTube’s efforts to improve access to credible health information,” said Shiv Gaglani, Co-Founder and CEO. “This partnership will help us grow from reaching tens of millions to billions of patients, family members, and health professionals with our best-in-class health information.”
“The pandemic has made clear how important it is to provide timely and accurate health information to the general public, ranging from physical distancing guidelines to encouraging vaccinations,” said Rishi Desai, MD MPH, the Chief Medical Officer of Osmosis.org, recent Head of Khan Academy Health. “We began the Osmosis YouTube channel in order to educate millions of current and future healthcare heroes and are excited to be partnering officially with YouTube to further bring our reliable and engaging health content to their massive global audience.”
