OrthoLazer Announces Agreement for Eight New Laser Centers

Dr. Bob Patz, President of Orthopaedic Specialists of Massachusetts, and Brian Hall, President and CEO of Physicians Resources LTD, have entered into an Area Development Agreement for part of Massachusetts to develop and open eight OrthoLazer Laser Centers over the next few years, announced Mark Mollenkopf, CEO of OrthoLazer Orthopedic Laser Centers headquartered in Rochester, NY.

Development agreements solidify a long-term working partnership between the parties, mapping out a shared vision for success. The agreement represents the third ADA OrthoLazer has awarded to date.

OrthoLazer Orthopedic Laser Centers offers a new laser technology, the MLS M8 Robotic Laser, which is the most advanced laser therapy available today. This FDA-cleared non-invasive solution is completely safe and effective for the treatment of pain and inflammation.

“I look forward to being able to offer my patients OrthoLazer, an effective, non-invasive, opioid-sparing option for the treatment of pain and inflammation,” said Dr. Patz. “Our patients rely on us to provide them with the latest information and treatment alternatives. OrthoLazer is a great option for many orthopedic conditions. I am proud to be involved in the introduction and development of OrthoLazer Centers in Massachusetts with the goal of improving the quality of life of our patients.”

The OrthoLazer franchise model a “business-in-a-box” system designed for orthopedic surgeons who wish to increase profits and provide a better patient experience. Dr. Patz and Hall have agreed to develop and open at least eight centers across the state, with the first location opening in several months in a western Boston suburb. The pair plan to partner with numerous physicians throughout the Massachusetts market.

“Additionally, as the CEO of PRL, we focus on helping physicians remain independent and practice medicine on their own terms,” Hall said. “We are always looking for creative solutions that help our clients replace declining reimbursement and offset increasing overhead. OL not only offers physicians a great option for their patients, but it adds an additional revenue stream to offset the continual financial pressures of running a healthcare practice.”

The OrthoLazer franchise system provides its partners with everything from real estate and staff recruiting assistance to a completely branded and delivered OrthoLazer Center. This proven model allows franchisees to maximize efficiencies and returns.

“As an entrepreneur, nothing is more exciting than starting a new venture and having a partner like OrthoLazer and their turnkey business-in-a-box solution will really allow us to scale quickly and create a tremendous experience for our patients and our physician partners,” said Hall.

“The success and rapid growth we are experiencing at OrthoLazer are directly related to our partners and franchisees. What is happening in the Massachusetts market is another great example of the importance of patterning with thought-leading physicians and business savvy entities,” says Ryan Mooney, VP of Development, OrthoLazer. “We continue to seek these high caliber Orthopreneurs throughout numerous markets in the US.”
