Olive Fertility Centre is delighted to announce that the Olive Fertility lab has received multiple awards, including top Canadian Clinic for Superior Outcomes in Egg Vitrification Warming 2022 and Masters of ART at this year’s LOVE Awards by Donor Egg Bank USA.
According to Donor Egg Bank USA (DEB USA) these honours are awarded only to clinics and individuals with the ability to consistently provide high levels of innovation, performance, and inspiration in the field of assisted reproductive technology. The Excellence Awards were designed to recognize superior embryologists who have mastered the highly technical skill of vitrification freezing and warming.

But beyond our technology what really sets us apart is the outstanding group of scientists that run our lab.”
At the lead is Dr Salah Abdelgadir, PhD, who has been a laboratory director for nearly 20 years, with certification as a Technical Supervisor (TS) and High Complexity Lab Director (HCLD) from the American Board of Bioanalysis. He is the only PhD-educated lab director in British Columbia who works on-site, full-time to maintain strict and direct supervision of all laboratory processes and procedures. Working with Dr Abdelgadir is an entire team of some of the best embryologists and andrologists in the field.
“Our world-class lab is why Olive has among the highest pregnancy rates in Canada and is part of our commitment to provide families with the best chance of having a healthy baby,” says Dr Abdelgadir.
After careful evaluation of 28 partner practices and over 150 reproductive specialists in the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico, Donor Egg Bank USA selected recipients for awards in Fertility Practice Excellence in a number of categories. Candidates were evaluated based upon clinical pregnancy rates achieved per egg lot thawed and overall practice excellence.
