Night Stalker Foundation Announces Appointment of MyLinh Shattan, writer and educator, to its Board of Directors

I’m thrilled with the opportunity to join the Board of the Night Stalker Foundation where I can utilize my literary and military experience to help support the soldiers and families of the Regiment in a meaningful and impactful way.

The Night Stalker Foundation is pleased to announce the appointment of renowned writer and educator, MyLinh Shattan, to its Board of Directors effective immediately.

Night Stalkers are the Soldiers of the elite 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne), the unit made famous by their depiction in the movie, “Blackhawk Down”, and the Foundation is a non-profit organization providing support to that unit’s current and former members and their families.

LTG (ret) Kevin Mangum, Chairman of the Night Stalker Foundation Board of Directors, said, “MyLinh brings an important new dimension to our Foundation’s Board of Directors with her extensive experience in professional writing and podcast production coupled with her military service experience and other charitable efforts.”

“I’m thrilled with the opportunity to join the Board of the Night Stalker Foundation where I can utilize my literary and military experience to help support the soldiers and families of the Regiment in a meaningful and impactful way,” said Shatten.

She holds a Bachelor’s degree from the US Military Academy at West Point, as well as an MBA from Florida Southern College and an MFA from Queens University.
