New Vitae Wellness and Recovery Achieves Re-Accreditation by CARF

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery is proud to announce that its Action Recovery Brain Injury Services again have been re-accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). The organization has been granted a three-year term for the updated accreditation.

Founded in 1966, CARF is an independent, nonprofit organization focused on advancing the quality of services that consumers rely upon to achieve the best possible outcomes in their care plan. CARF accreditation signals a service provider’s commitment to continually improving services, encouraging feedback from stakeholders regarding service delivery, and helping the community.

New Vitae Wellness and Recovery has been offering services to individuals who are working to manage the aftermath of brain injuries for more than 30 years. In 2016, the organization further developed its brain injury supports to offer a wider array of services for men and women looking to regain or learn new skills following the experience of a brain injury. Action Recovery Brain Injury Services has been accredited by CARF since 2017.

“New Vitae is proud to once again achieve re-accreditation by CARF,” said organization president and CEO Judy Yanacek. “Our mission is to offer compassionate residential and clinical supports through evidence-based and holistic care. This recognition is a testament to the professionalism and dedication to our mission that is displayed by each of our staff members, every day.”

CARF provides accreditation services to health and human service organizations around the globe. Consumers, their families, and the public look for CARF accreditation as assurance that providers strive to offer the highest quality services. Meanwhile, funders, insurers, referral agencies, and government regulators recognize that CARF-accredited providers offer the highest levels of trustworthy care for individuals.
