ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (PRWEB)
January 26, 2022
With the start of a new year, the New Mexico Healthcare Executives (NMHE) association named Angelica Bruhnke, a leader in healthcare analytics in New Mexico, as its new president. The association is the New Mexico chapter of the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE)—a professional society with more than 48,000 healthcare executive members committed to advancing leaders in the field of healthcare management.
Bruhnke has served on the NMHE board since 2019, previously serving as the Programming Committee Chair before taking on the new role to lead the New Mexico Chapter in 2022.
“I’m very honored to be named president of New Mexico Healthcare Executives and am committed to continue advancing its mission to meet the professional, educational and leadership needs of our members,” said Bruhnke. “I’m especially excited to work more closely with healthcare leaders throughout our state to grow NMHE’s membership base and provide more mentorship opportunities for those that are early in their healthcare careers.”
The chapter also intends to host more networking events this year—bringing together the healthcare community and aspiring student leaders to make connections, foster relationships and share knowledge and ideas.
“We are planning for more events centered around diversity and advancing health equity—two areas I particularly value personally but that are also top of mind for many of our members,” Bruhnke explained. “Building relationships and exchanging new ideas on a frequent basis with an extended network is definitely something that has taken a hit over the last two years due to the pandemic.”
Over the last 14 years, Angelica Bruhnke has brought a diverse perspective to various senior positions held with large healthcare organizations, such as Molina Healthcare, Health Care Services Corporation, Presbyterian Healthcare Services and dozens of hospitals across New Mexico. She is currently the Division President of RS21 Health Lab, a division of data science and AI company RS21, with an exclusive focus on technology and data analytics services and products for health and healthcare entities.
