NeuroFlow, the leading provider of digitally integrated behavioral health solutions, has added two executive level advisors to its team. USAF (Ret.) Brigadier General Carl Buhler and Pat Saxman, two military veterans with experience advocating for mental health issues and causes, will support the company on key growth stage business decisions.

Brig. General Buhler and Saxman join an accomplished group of advisors that bring decades of experience in venture capital, psychology, and healthcare to the team.

Brig. General Buhler has more than 28 years of active duty service in the U.S. Air Force and currently owns and operates an eponymous consulting firm for growing technology businesses. Saxman is the president of enterprise sales for ZocDoc, a leading digital medical appointment booking service. He is an Army veteran and serves on the board of Mental Health America.

“There’s no substitute for experience, and Brig. General Buhler and Pat bring decades of leadership and business acumen to our company at a time when we are accelerating sales and marketing,” said NeuroFlow CEO Chris Molaro. “I’ve had the pleasure of working with both, in various capacities, and their passion for mental health care is a natural fit with our culture.”

Brig. General Buhler currently assists companies on technology insertion into the DoD market, including AFWERX, the U.S. Air Force’s tech and innovation unit. He has championed NeuroFlow’s technology within the Department of Defense, helping to develop a program for improving mental health care.

“NeuroFlow occupies a unique place in the healthcare ecosystem, as they have a technology that is improving the way clinicians treat and manage patients struggling with mental health symptoms,” said Brig. General Buhler. “I’m excited to take on a more influential role within the company, and recognize the opportunity to disrupt the way care is administered in the healthcare industry.”

Saxman served five years in the Army as an Apache helicopter pilot and spent the bulk of his career in the corporate world as a director at GE Healthcare, where he helped health systems innovate and implement new technology solutions.

“I admire what Chris and the entire leadership team has been able to build — from both a business and product standpoint, and believe that my skills complement this stage of the company’s growth,” said Saxman. “I look forward to making meaningful strategic contributions and introductions in my role.”
