The Navy SEAL Foundation (NSF) is pleased to announce David Herro has been selected to receive the 2021 NSF Patriot Award. The prestigious award is presented to an individual or organization that has contributed significantly to our nation and who has demonstrated and upheld the same values epitomized by the Navy SEAL community.
“I am deeply humbled and honored to receive this award from the Navy SEAL Foundation. The SEALs are always on duty in some of the most remote locations in the world, serving and protecting our country. Jay and I are honored to support the Navy SEAL Foundation and all those they serve,” stated David Herro.
Greg Brown, the 2021-2022 Midwest Evening of Tribute Chair, shared, “There is no one more deserving of the Patriot Award than David Herro. David has a global view as Chief Investment Officer, International Equities at Harris Associates, L.P, and intimately understands the vital role of our SEALs and Naval Special Warfare Operators play in protecting our country.”
The Foundation will present Mr. Herro with the award at the September 14th 10th annual Evening of Tribute event. Past recipients of the NSF Patriot Award are Kenneth Griffin, Miles White, Bob Iger, Clint Eastwood, among other dedicated patriots.
