Fast-charge pioneers OPPO, Xiaomi and Lenovo have all adopted our advanced GaNFast technology for flagship smartphones and this high-speed technology is now being used for fast-charging Dell laptops and is compatible with all Apple iPhones, iPads and MacBooks

Navitas Semiconductor Limited today invited customers and industry partners to experience a new era of fast charging at the Semiexpo Shenzhen 2020 from December 8th – 10th. New, fast gallium nitride (GaN) is taking over from old, slow silicon chips and GaNFast power ICs which integrated GaN power (FET) with drive, control and protection, deliver up to 3x faster charging in half the size and weight.

SemiExpo brings together over 50,000 vistors to experience the latest, leading-edge technology from over 800 electronics-industry vendors with over 80 media contacts eager to educate and inform the electronics industry of the latest innovations.

“GaN is the dominant solution in performance smartphone and laptop chargers today,” said Charles (Jingjie) ZHA, VP and GM of Navitas China. “Fast-charge pioneers OPPO, Xiaomi and Lenovo have all adopted our advanced GaNFast technology for flagship smartphones and this high-speed technology is now being used for fast-charging Dell laptops and is compatible with all Apple iPhones, iPads and MacBooks.”

Navitas’ Jason (Yupu) TAO will highlight the high performance and environmental benefits of gallium nitride when presenting “Navitas GaNFast: A New Era in Fast Charging” (纳微氮化镓市场分享及展望) in pavillion #2 of the “Fast Charging Exhibition” within SemiExpo, at 11.30am on December 9th.

Visitors to booth #561 can learn about the latest Navitas GaNFast devices and reference designs that achieve unprecedented small size, low weight and high efficiency levels, with fast-charging speeds for end products ranging from smartphones and tablets, to laptops, monitors & gaming systems.

Navitas’ ‘Little GaN Star’ twin mascots – XiaoDan and XiaoJia – will be at SemiExpo to have fun, meet fans and invite visitors to enter GaNFast competitions with ‘mini mascots’ as prizes.
