Light the Night is a unique community-based event to support blood cancer patients and their caregivers. This partnership between LLS and ICON allows the companies to jointly support our communities and the growth of those communities. Leukemia is one of the most commonly diagnosed forms of blood cancer, an umbrella term for cancers that affect the blood, bone marrow and lymphatic system. There are approximately 140 different types of blood cancers; most are rare, life-threatening conditions requiring advanced research and support from the biotech and pharmaceutical industry.
