Galileo, a transformative, digital-first medical service that offers individuals direct access to national clinical expertise when and where they need it, announced today the hiring of Mike Smit as their Chief Commercial Officer.

“We’re excited to have someone with Mike’s depth and breadth of experience join our team” said Tom X. Lee, Founder and CEO of Galileo. “In a short period of time, Galileo has already gained national momentum as a leader in digital innovation, and Mike will be a tremendous asset as we further commercialize our products and manage our rapid growth.”

“Simply put, Galileo is changing the way healthcare is being delivered in America. The combination of 24/7 access to high quality, multi-specialty physicians as well as significantly lowering the cost of healthcare for members, employers, and health plans is a game-changer,” said Smit.
