Metro Storage LLC announced today the expansion of its online and phone rental services in response to the CDC protocols established in the wake of the recent COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. All 140 Metro Self Storage stores now offer a “contact-free” rental service to customers. The contact-free rental process provides a greater level of safety for customers and Metro employees.
“Metro Self Storage has already had phone and online rental options in place for several years, so we were able to easily modify our existing rental process to make it “contact-free” for our customers,” said Marc Harris, Vice President of Operations. “The percentage of online rentals has doubled in the past two weeks.”
The enhanced process allows customers to select their unit, pay for it and complete the necessary paperwork without physically interacting with Metro staff. In addition to the no-contact rentals, Metro customers can also manage their accounts and make payments over the phone or online.
