MEDI Leadership (MEDI) is proud to announce the addition of its newest employed executive coach, Gary Hoffman, MD. Dr. Hoffman joins MEDI with vast experience in healthcare administration, business management, and clinical leadership, building upon its existing coach bench strength with deep expertise in coaching and healthcare.

Primarily because they focus solely on healthcare, and because many of the coaches come from within the healthcare industry themselves,” Hoffman said. “Their philosophy that coaching leaders and teams is critical to improving culture and outcomes, aligns with my own beliefs about the importance of developing effective leadership within healthcare, both for current leaders as well as future leaders.”

Dr. Hoffman is located in Portland, Oregon, expanding MEDI Leadership’s coach footprint into the Northwest. He previously served as the Chief of the Women and Children’s Division at Providence St. Vincent Medical Center. As a founding member of his own practice, he led the transition of a small group practice into a highly resilient organization recognized as one of the largest single-specialty private Ob-Gyn groups in the nation. He also serves on the Board of Health Share of Oregon. In this capacity, he contributes to leading the transformation to value-based healthcare in that state.
