The World Health Organization (WHO) has named 2020 the Year of the Nurse and Midwife to recognize the impact nurses have on the world. As a way to celebrate the work of nurses and show appreciation to our nursing faculty, Unitek Learning will offer degree-advancement opportunities to further their education in the health care sector. Nursing faculty can participate in a new Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Education Scholarship program, where faculty across all campuses will receive 100% tuition assistance. In addition, Unitek will offer its nursing faculty a post-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree under this program.
Both opportunities would allow faculty members to attend nursing programs through Unitek Learning while they continue to work and receive tuition assistance for their degrees. Over the years, Unitek Learning has helped countless students launch and accelerate their careers. This rapidly growing company also maintains an environment that fosters rewarding careers.
“The Faculty Degree Advancement Programs are a great benefit to Unitek employees. They demonstrate our commitment to career empowerment for our students and our staff,” said Sara Cramlet, Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Unitek Learning. “We value education as well as employee development. With Unitek, you will be challenged, rewarded, and empowered to make a difference. If you believe in people, you belong at Unitek.”
Not only will faculty gain invaluable skills, but they will benefit from the convenience of completing most of their coursework online. Virtual courses allow busy adults to attend class when it is best for their schedule. Throughout the program, faculty will train to instruct future students seeking a BSN degree, International RN Courses, or Vocational/Practical Nursing diplomas.
“We are thrilled to offer the MSN Education and RN-to-BSN Faculty Degree Advancement Programs,” said Dr. Abdel Yosef, Chief Academic Officer at Unitek Learning. “With this opportunity, we can elevate the quality of our faculty as well as student-learning outcomes. The goal is to meet today’s health care needs by producing excellent nursing graduates to better serve our communities. Ultimately, we prepare students to excel in nursing careers, where they help patients achieve greater health and wellbeing.”
