As we navigate the COVID-19 outbreak, our partners can be rest assured that they can focus on the well-being of their employees, and families, with the knowledge that their members are in good hands with LifeStation.

LifeStation (http://www.lifestation.com), the premier medical alert company announced today it has partnered with The Blue Card (http://www.bluecardfund.org) to provide remote care services to Holocaust Survivors. The current COVID-19 Pandemic increases the dangers of social isolation more than ever, particularly for seniors in need. LifeStation leveraged their 24/7 Customer Care team to make check-in calls to Holocaust survivors serviced by The Blue Card to determine if they had any urgent requirements for food or medicine and to remind them that with LifeStation and Blue Card, they are not alone.

“We understand how important the support survivors receive from The Blue Card program is to their independence and well-being,” said Laura Aiello, Director, LifeStation. “During this time of uncertainty, we were happy to offer our wellness checks to survivors to find out if they were having any difficulty getting medicine or groceries. We were then able to share that information back to The Blue Card, who could make arrangements to further support these seniors in need .”

The mission of The Blue Card is to provide direct financial assistance, with utmost respect and ever mindful of their dignity, to needy Holocaust survivors in the United States.

Financial assistance is available on a monthly basis for most basic needs, as well as for emergencies, such as medical and dental care, special equipment, rent and utility shut offs. The organization’s health precautionary services allow survivors to avoid institutionalization and remain in their homes for as long as possible.

“We are thrilled to partner with LifeStation”, said Masha Pearl, Executive Director, The Blue Card. “By utilizing LifeStation’s products and services, our members can maintain their independence longer, remain in their own homes, and better share their health and wellness needs with those dedicated to their care. Through this partnership, our members can engage with a proactive system designed to put their medical and emotional needs first.”

Continued Ms. Aiello, “As we navigate the COVID-19 outbreak, our partners can be rest assured that they can focus on the well-being of their employees, and families, with the knowledge that their members are in good hands with LifeStation.”
