Lakeside Milam Recovery Centers to begin search for new Medical Director

Dr. Terry Rogers, Medical Director of Lakeside Milam Recovery Centers, announced today he will be retiring in 2021 after 19 successful years of Medical Leadership at the preeminent Addiction Treatment Center in the Pacific Northwest.

Dr. Rogers, the longest-serving medical leader in the organization’s 36-year history, says he will step down when his successor is hired. Until then, he will continue to lead the medical department through the pandemic, and advance the innovation, collaboration and outstanding medical care that have defined his tenure.

“While I’m excited about the next chapter in my life, I’m equally excited about the future of Lakeside Milam and know that our mission is more important than ever before,” Dr. Rogers said. “In this extraordinary time, I remain 100% focused on those we serve, and the hope and healing that so many individuals and families need right now.”

“Lakeside Milam has been fortunate to have had the medical leadership of Dr. Rogers over the last two decades” said CEO Carl Kester. “He has been everything one could want from a medical leader, deeply committed to patient care, a tireless advocate for those we serve, and a creative, collaborative thinker about the issues facing the organization and our field.”

Lakeside Milam Recovery Centers, Newsweek Magazine’s #1 ranked Addiction Treatment Center in the State Of Washington will immediately begin their search for Dr. Rogers successor.

“As we begin our search for Lakeside Milam’s next Medical Director” said President JP Liddle. “We will be looking for those qualities that have made Dr. Rogers so successful – an unyielding belief in the ability of every patient to enter into recovery from addiction, a pervasive empathy for the pain that each patient has suffered and the ability to communicate warmth and hope each day at work.”
