JAMAH, an American luxury handbag brand that is celebrating 20 years of being made in the USA, has announced the launch of two initiatives designed in response to COVID-19. The brand is honoring mothers and fathers by donating 20% of their sales in May and June to Feeding America, in addition to launching the “JAMAH Honors Heroes Giveaway” on social media, in an effort to tell the stories of people on the frontlines of fighting the virus.

“When the pandemic hit, we put our plans to celebrate JAMAH’s 2020 – 20th anniversary on hold and turned our focus to what was now in front of us,” said Nancy Gale, JAMAH’s founder and designer. “Like so many small businesses, we had to figure out how to stay in business, keep our Made in the USA team employed and contribute to the universal effort to create a better tomorrow, all while being sensitive about marketing luxury goods in the midst of this crisis.”

The company’s response was to design two programs whose success would help keep the focus on JAMAH, its values, on what they do and what they offer, while helping to feed families and honor frontline heroes.

JAMAH Gives 20% to Feeding America in honor of Mother’s & Father’s Day



In celebration of Mothers and Fathers everywhere, 20% of all JAMAH sales will be donated to Feeding America for the months of May and June. JAMAH recognizes how fortunate we are and how devastating it would be be to not be able to feed one’s family. At the same time, many can still enjoy gift-giving, while savoring life’s little pleasures and the occasional extravagance, especially when an additional beneficiary makes it a conscientious indulgence.

All of the individuals on the frontlines of this pandemic deserve our gratitude, praise and support.

Who do YOU think is an outstanding example of a hero who is contributing to the fight against COVID-19? Are they a nurse, an EMT, a doctor, a civilian who is making masks or perhaps an entrepreneur who has pivoted their business to help the cause?
