“What means the most to me about this journey is that it not only changed my life, but also the life of my entire family. My kids have a whole new mom.” – Kara Beverly, 2021 U.S. IsaBody Challenge Grand Prize Winner
GILBERT, Ariz. (PRWEB)
January 21, 2021
Isagenix International, a global wellbeing company providing effective products and a supportive community, recently announced the grand prize winner of its 2021 U.S. IsaBody Challenge®. Kara Beverly of Bethel, Connecticut, was honored during the company’s New Year Kick Off 2021 virtual event, which she attended from home with her family by her side. She was awarded a check for $25,000.
“Winning this means so much to me. Becoming a finalist has been on my vision board for a few years now,” Beverly said. “What means the most to me about this journey is that it not only changed my life, but also the life of my entire family. My kids have a whole new mom.”
Beverly, 37, was one of 15 IsaBody® Finalists chosen from tens of thousands of U.S. participants. Her inspirational story on the importance of self-care caught the judges’ attention. Beverly is a mother of three boys who woke up one day and realized she was so focused on her children, she wasn’t taking the time for herself that she so desperately wanted and needed. She had been a high school athlete and played sports in college, and she wanted her athletic physique back. Her goal was to get stronger, not skinnier.
After finding a routine and Isagenix wellbeing products that worked for her, Beverly met her goal and then exceeded it. She has participated in three fitness competitions and couldn’t be happier with her success, both physically and mentally.
Other IsaBody Challenge top contenders include 2021 runner-up Holly Franz, who received a $10,000 prize. The 26-year-old of Bedford, New Hampshire, was thrilled.
“I am so proud to represent Isagenix and IsaBody,” Franz said as she watched the event in her living room, surrounded by friends and family.
When she started her IsaBody journey in 2017, little did Franz know this would finally be “the” journey she needed to improve her overall wellbeing. She has lost weight, gained lean muscle, and created smarter eating habits. Franz now feels more confident than she has since being confined to a wheelchair 12 years ago due to Friedreich’s ataxia, a rare neuromuscular disorder.
One important component of the IsaBody Challenge is the support participants receive from each other. Another highlight is the IsaBody Fitness program, which consists of four workouts each week. Challenge participants access the free program via the IsaLife™ mobile app, where a new set of workouts with instructional videos is uploaded every month.

Weight loss, muscle gain, lifestyle, and other results depicted here reflect exceptional individual experiences of Isagenix customers and should not be construed as typical or average. Results vary with individual effort, body composition, eating patterns, time, exercise, and other factors, such as genetic and physiological makeup. A two-phase 2016 study published by researchers at Skidmore College showed an average weight loss of 24 pounds after 12 weeks. The study evaluated the use of Isagenix products in men and women for weight loss followed by weight maintenance. During the weight maintenance phase, the subjects who continued the calorie-controlled program using Isagenix products better maintained their weight loss in comparison to those who transitioned to a traditional diet after 52 weeks.
