Interim Physicians, a Top 10 national locum tenens staffing firm, announced today the promotion of two senior executives to higher levels of responsibility, effective immediately.
Shawn Mullen, who previously held the title of Vice President of Client Sales, was promoted to President and Chief Revenue Officer. In his new role, Mullen will oversee all sales and recruiting functions for the organization. In addition, he will be responsible for directing the activities of the sales operations and marketing functions of the company.
Mullen joined Interim Physicians in December 2020 after spending over five years with Medicus Healthcare Solutions. Shawn has a B.A. from Boston College and earned his J.D. from Suffolk University.
Tim Sarlone, who currently serves as the company’s Chief Financial Officer, will now hold the additional title of Chief Operations Officer. In addition to overseeing accounting and finance, Sarlone is responsible for the quality assurance and risk management teams as well as the travel department and human resources.
Sarlone has been with Interim Physicians since 2009. Prior to joining Interim, Tim spent his career in public accounting and holds his CPA license in Missouri. He has his B.S. in Accounting from Maryville University, also in St. Louis.
