IKey’s New Rugged 11.6″ Flat-Panel Touchscreen Display for Vehicle Mount

This no-DeX solution removes the need for an external dock and mount, and integrates the technology into the display. A USB-C Charger is all that is needed to mirror the phone.

iKey, LTD announces availability and first installments of a new, industry-leading 11.6” rugged touchscreen display designed for mounting in public safety vehicles. The rugged display has unique integrated technology to connect to a Samsung DeX® enabled device with a standard USB-C cable (no DeX docking solution required).

The display easily mirrors the S9/S10 screen and can be connected to other peripherals and custom solutions.

The new 11.6” display is designed specifically for installation in public safety vehicles, featuring truly rugged specs, a VESA mounting pattern and control buttons on the top of the display, creating more flexibility and space in the cabin.

A standard Samsung DeX solution requires a dedicated DeX dock inside a mount. The iKey display (USB-C model) has this docking technology integrated and no DeX dock is needed to connect to a Samsung phone; a standard USB-C connector accomplishes connectivity.

iKey already has several large public safety and fire department installments of the new IK-KV-11.6 display active in the field now. It is available to ship worldwide.
