HMP Global’s Clinical Pathways Congress + Cancer Care Business Exchange (CPC+CBEx) today announced its 2023 Congress Leadership. The annual Congress hosts the conversation and deliberations among stakeholders who have interest, influence, and impact on the evolving business models of cancer care, with a focus on improving outcomes for patients.
The 2023 Congress will be held October 6-8 in Boston and is the official meeting of the Journal of Clinical Pathways, a peer-reviewed journal that works to advance the discussion of clinical pathways to provide high-quality, cost-effective care. The 2023 Congress is a three-day accredited educational program (CME) with business-changing insights, practical strategies, and key exchanges with innovators, providing participants with actionable solutions to complexities in cancer care delivery and payment.
“The Congress brings together key thought leaders to inform and develop the content for this year’s meeting,” said Jeff Hennessy Jr., President, HMP Omnimedia, a subsidiary of HMP Global. “Through this collaboration, we are incorporating a whole new element to the educational program that specifically focuses on the business of cancer care.”

“This strategic collaboration provides a forum for cancer care providers to work with oncology business leaders to address the most pressing challenges faced by providers in delivering high-value cancer care services to their patients,” said Ronald Barkley, Principal, Cancer Center Business Development Group. “The Congress provides an unbiased, solutions-oriented meeting that explores the complex and difficult issues of cancer care delivery and payment in light of increased pressure from those funding the care for consistency, high value, and predictable pricing: payors and self-insured employers.”
CBEx is a high-level, multi-stakeholder forum focusing on actionable business solutions within the complex environment of cancer care delivery and payment. It includes conversations between thought leaders who impact cancer care delivery, including policymakers, payers, cancer center executives, clinicians, technology providers, and employers. The Clinical Pathways Congress is designed for healthcare professionals interested in learning how to implement, maintain, and measure treatment pathways, including oncologists, hematologists, oncology pharmacists, oncology nurses, and other cancer care team members. Together, the Congress provides a comprehensive learning and networking opportunity for all stakeholders in the cancer care continuum.
