HealthLX & SourcEdge Team Up to Solve Interoperability Compliance Challenges for Healthcare Payers

HealthLX announced today that it has entered a systems integrator partnership with SourcEdge to help healthcare payers comply with the CMS Interoperability and Patient Access Final Rule. Health plans in the United States must enable member access to their records by July 1, 2021 or risk enforcement actions.

“This has been an extremely challenging year for health plans, and many are not as far along as they’d like to be on meeting the upcoming interoperability compliance deadlines,” said Will Tesch, CEO of HealthLX. “The need for IT teams to work 100% virtually has further complicated their situation. This is a very good time for HealthLX and SourcEdge to partner to meet client needs for an interoperability solution that can be implemented quickly in a cost-effective manner.”

“SourcEdge supports a number of health plans across the country, and there is a clear need for a technology solution to support our clients’ requirement to meet the Cures Act interoperability specifications,” said Mark McAdoo, Founder and CEO of SourcEdge. “The combination of SourcEdge’s consulting/professional services and HealthLX’s technology platform is the ideal solution for the market. Our combined solution has long-term implications for payer data-sharing practices for years to come.”
