“We’ve all had a subpar healthcare experience, and our ability to use technology to decrease the frequency of those experiences, facilitate more collaborative care, and enable access to your care team before you’re ill is what keeps us pushing forward.”

Cavan Klinsky, co-founder and CTO of healthcare technology provider, Healthie, was recently named to the annual Forbes 30 Under 30 List for the Class of 2023 in the Healthcare vertical. The list recognizes young disruptors across 20 categories who are changing the face of their respective industries globally. Cavan was selected from a pool of tens of thousands of entrants and was honored for his role in advancing healthcare technology and providing better patient outcomes by way of Healthie’s digital health platform.
“Healthie is all about making the patient experience and patient outcomes better,” said Klinsky. “We’ve all had a subpar healthcare experience, and our ability to use technology to decrease the frequency of those experiences, facilitate more collaborative care, and enable access to your care team before you’re ill is what keeps us pushing forward. We truly believe we can change the future of healthcare with Healthie, and to be placed in this Forbes 30 Under 30 class with other innovators also trying to change the space is a real honor.”
Klinsky founded Healthie in 2016 after meeting co-founder Erica Jain at The University of Pennsylvania. Inspired by the idea of a better healthcare experience powered by technology and bolstered by his experience with his own chronic health condition, Klinsky left college to focus on Healthie full-time, teaching himself to code and building the software from the ground up. Today, Healthie has the most comprehensive, feature-rich, and flexible options for delivering and scaling a digital, virtual-first health platform. Sitting at the center of provider and customer interaction, Healthie houses business, operational, financial, and health information for customers and powers a better experience for thousands of patients daily through key partners.
“I’m motivated by the range and type of companies we support, from weight loss and chronic pain to addiction treatment, behavioral health, and most poignantly, cardiac rehab,” Klinsky continued. “Healthie enables these companies to stay laser-focused on delivering amazing care to their patients, and I’m grateful that I’ve been lucky enough to contribute to that mission.”
To compile the list, Forbes collaborated with an expert panel of judges, including Joe Jonas, singer, songwriter, and actor; Aimee Song, designer, and fashion blogger; Bobbi Brown, makeup artist, author, and founder of Bobbi Brown Cosmetics; and Sid Sijbrandij, co-founder and CEO of business software firm GitLab. Forbes’ Under 30 Class of 2023 features honorees in multiple categories, including: art and style, media, entertainment, social media, science, sports, healthcare, energy, enterprise tech, consumer tech, music, finance, food and drink, social impact, manufacturing and industry, venture capital, marketing and advertising, retail and e-commerce, games, and education.
