Health Data Movers Announce Board Appointment Set to Bolster Company’s Growth

Health Data Movers (HDM), a company transforming healthcare data and technology, has appointed Jeremy Schwach to its Board of Directors.

Schwach, a seasoned executive in building and growing teams and businesses, joins HDM from a number of healthcare and technology ventures with startups and scaling companies.

After launching his first profitable company as a 19-year-old freshman, Schwach has gone on to lead progressive implementation projects at electronic medical record giant, Epic, before playing a leading role in the expansion of Bluetree, a health tech-enabled services company. As CEO, Schwach grew Bluetree from four to 600 employees and spearheaded the sale of the company to Tegria, a subsidiary of $20b Providence Health.

HDM’s CEO, Tyler Smith, says: “Jeremy’s addition to HDM’s Board of Directors will be transformational for the organization’s growth and strategic direction.

“Jeremy led Bluetree from its early days to its industry leadership. Besides his ability to grow and win, Jeremy’s skillful manner of diagnosing issues and providing quick and effective feedback will be monumental to our leadership team’s toolkit.”

Schwach currently works closely with early-stage startups and scaling companies, investing out of his early-stage technology fund and advising several healthcare services and technology firms.

Outside of his new work with HDM, Schwach will continue as partner in Founders Factory Miami, a healthcare-focused venture studio, and an advisor and benefactor of the workforce development nonprofits YearUp and Coop Careers.
