Health Connect America Celebrates Growth, New Services and Brings New Jobs to Chattanooga

Health Connect America (HCA), a provider of mental and behavioral health services, plans to hire 25-35 additional staff in recognition of its growth and increased service offerings in the Chattanooga area. HCA is planning an expansion of programs to now include Parenting classes, Anger Management classes, and Therapeutic Level Foster Care. The addition of these services along with the already variety of programs available will allow treatment to be individually tailored to client needs, legal requirements for individuals, and overall community enhancement.

On September 1, 2022, at 2 PM HCA’s Chattanooga Office is planning to celebrate its growth and variety of new services with a ribbon cutting.

“Southeastern Tennessee is an important market area for HCA,” says Kristi Shain, president and chief executive officer, Health Connect America. “Services designed for the needs of the community are the key to delivering on our commitment to offer this underserved population a higher level of care. This will be a great opportunity for those seeking employment and/or our wide range of services to celebrate these new chapter with the Chattanooga Community!”

Because communities’ needs change, HCA frequently adds new services to adapt. The existing range of programs are meant to help adults, children, adolescents, and families find hope and healing from traumatic events. These programs are designed to address issues like grief, anger management, family issues, and substance use. Individuals are offered the support they need to help improve the lives of children, adults, and their families. In addition to mental health services, HCA provides services to adults with autism and neurodevelopmental disabilities (ANDSS) through the Employment Community First waiver.

HCA’s projected growth not only benefits the community by serving more clients, but also creates more jobs in the area. They are expected to hire approximately 15 Therapists to provide master’s level therapeutic services in forms of Outpatient, Adolescent and Adult Intensive Outpatient, and various classes along with an additional 10-20 supporting positions as well.

“Our projected growth not only benefits the community by serving more clients, but also through creating more jobs in the area,” says Jeremy Johnson, program director, Health Connect America. “The variety of programs available will allow treatment to be individually tailored to client needs, legal requirements for individuals, and overall community enhancement.”

The In-Home Services program continues to grow and evolve, requiring ongoing hiring to meet community needs. The availability of these programs will increase access to resources for clients with the highest level of need. This will also decrease wait times between a need being identified and care being provided.
