Green Goo Wraps Up Its Season of Goodness, Donating Over $100,000 in Products to Charities, Organizations, and Individuals Across the U.S.

Green Goo – Season of Goodness Wrap-Up

“I’m proud that we, along with our customers and various partners, have been able to share such a positive message, while providing vitally important products and support to so many incredible organizations and individuals throughout our Season of Goodness.”

Plant-based body care brand Green Goo, under parent company Sierra Sage Herbs, concluded its $100,000 Pay It Forward campaign, part of its Season of Goodness, by donating $102,776.39 in products to philanthropies, aid organizations, first responder groups, schools, and other worthy recipients throughout the United States. The brand also donated a percentage of its hand sanitizer sales to select non-profit organizations during the campaign as well.

Launched in November 2020 and concluded in January 2021, Green Goo’s $100,000 Pay It Forward campaign was one part contest, one part giveaway wherein randomly-selected weekly winners of an online and social media contest were not only awarded $500 gift baskets full of the brand’s plant-based body care products, but they were then invited to “pay it forward” by selecting their own favorite organizations to receive an allotment of Green Goo’s FDA-compliant hand sanitizers and other all-natural first aid products.

Additionally, Green Goo partnered with a number of notable personalities, including KINRGY founder & CEO, actress and multi-hyphenate Julianne Hough; Nabela Noor, founder of self-love brand Zeba and non-profit scholarship program Noor House; Beautiful Me campaign founder, Moms in Color co-founder, and author Ashley Chea; and Mike Adam, Adam’s Apple NYC founder and on-air radio & television host, among others, to not only spread the message of the campaign, but to donate hundreds of gallons of hand sanitizer to their charities of choice. Likewise, Green Goo also selected a number of deserving hand sanitizer recipients itself throughout the campaign.

“The past year has been undoubtedly challenging for so many people,” said Green Goo Co-Founder and CEO Jodi Scott. “I’m proud that we, along with our customers and various partners, have been able to share such a positive message, while providing vitally important products and support to so many incredible organizations and individuals throughout our Season of Goodness. These sorts of initiatives are why we do what we do.”

Organizations receiving hand sanitizer donations, among other miscellaneous Green Goo products include:

Each month of its Season of Goodness campaign, Green Goo selected two non-profit organizations — one national/international and one regional Colorado — to receive a percentage of its hand sanitizer sales. Those philanthropies include:
