Gerald Nelson’s newly released “From Hell to Glory” retells the author’s stirring journey of redemption as he finds the light of the Savior

“From Hell to Glory”: a fascinating testimony of a life redeemed by Christ that was illuminated with His love, grace, and mercy. “From Hell to Glory” is the creation of published author Gerald Nelson, a caregiver for two special people. His painting business and volunteer work started upon his release from a treatment facility where he was sent for depression and drug abuse. He is currently working with a special-needs girl, Belle Star. He has known her since she was a baby.

Nelson shares, “The author explains his life story, experiences, and the results of his forty-five years of battling addiction, anxiety, and depression. It led to him believe that drugs were the only cure for his pain, until the day he gave his life to Jesus Christ. After receiving Christ into his heart, he began a new journey of enjoying life and how to rebuild again with the ups and downs of drug and alcohol abuse.

“This is a story about redemption, love, drug abuse, and pain and how people can overcome through grace and forgiveness. It gives the reader hope for the future so they don’t have to go through what they went through and that they are not alone in this battle. After losing it all, he explains the steps to sober living and rebuilding his life with the help of other people and God’s great love.

“In his life, Gerald had the opportunity to attend schooling. His trades include meat cutting school, cosmetology college, and painting business. He currently has a passion for helping people by cutting hair for the homeless, volunteering at the rescue mission and the local YMCA, and sharing the gospel with others.”
