ESHA Research, the leader in nutrition analysis and regulatory-compliance solutions, announced today an important update to their Genesis R&D Supplement Formulation and Labeling Software, the industry’s only program tailored specifically to the needs of supplement and nutraceutical manufacturers.
Genesis R&D Supplements version 1.6 introduces a new document management feature that enables users to store critical recordkeeping files such as spec sheets and lab analysis results with Ingredients and Formulas stored in the database. This update also comes with an optional, importable nutrition database of 1,349 herbal (and other) ingredients pre-populated with nutrient and component data. Software users now have the option to upload and use these ingredients when formulating products.
“We continue to center our development around the user experience,” said Craig Bennett, CEO of ESHA. “The ability to attach files for auditing and other purposes has been a top request, and I think our customers will be happy to have it.”
Other notable features include an alternate way to calculate overages, a Unit Weight column visible when formulating and additional behind-the-scenes performance enhancements.
Users are invited to attend the version 1.6 feature release webinar, on Wednesday, November 13, 2019. For webinar details and to register, visit the ESHA website.
