FITTEAM Global, a healthy lifestyle brand founded in 2015, is collaborating with ViB.tech, a B2B demand generation company to help provide clean water to families in poverty around the world through the work of The Bucket Ministry.
Globally, more than 300,000 children under the age of five die every year from diarrheal infections linked to poor access to safe drinking water and sanitation –– that’s more than 800 per day, according to UNICEF.
The Bucket Ministry provides under-resourced communities around the world with long-lasting water filters that remove bacteria like E. coli, giardia, cholera, and typhoid from polluted drinking water.

Sean Shea, board member at The Bucket Ministry and ViB CEO is preparing to join the non-profit on his third mission to Kibera, Africa in January. With approximately 408,000 residents, Kibera is the biggest slum in Africa and one of the largest in the world.
“These mission trips to Africa are life changing,” says Shea. “The water filters are saving lives and the mission work is providing hope and health to children and families who are in desperate need of both.”
The Sawyer PointONE hollow fiber membrane filter is the tool that The Bucket Ministry uses around the world to share God’s love through the gift of clean, safe, drinking water. This filter employs the same sophisticated technology used in kidney dialysis: tiny micron filtration. The Sawyer PointONE totally removes all bacteria from drinking water. This filter is easily attached to any bucket or other water receptacle, and it flows freely for at least 1 million gallons. The filter will produce approximately twenty years of clean, safe, drinking water.
