Faith-Based Information Sharing & Analysis Organization Joins ZeroNow for Safe Schools

ZeroNow announced today that the Faith-Based Information Sharing & Analysis Organization (FB-ISAO) has joined the nonprofits, technology innovators, education institutions, students and individual advocates that make up the ZeroNow alliance. ZeroNow brings together stakeholders with a common agenda for making schools safe.

FB-ISAO membership is composed of faith-based organizations, including houses of worship, charities, faith-based schools and their affiliates. Members receive information and analysis that helps safeguard their organizations’ physical and cyber security and prepare for domestic terrorism, public health emergencies and natural disasters. A vetted, trusted member community allows FB-ISAO members to collaborate with a private network of peers and partners to share intelligence, issues and ideas.

“FB-ISAO brings experience augmenting technology solutions with information sharing and analytical reporting to keep houses of worship and faith-based schools safe,” said Ara Bagdasarian, CEO and Founder of ZeroNow. “Adding FB-ISAO to our collective will spark conversations on monitoring and risk management, and perspectives regarding the threat environment that will move us closer to our shared goal of safer schools.”

“We are looking forward to being an active participant in ZeroNow,” said Mayya Saab, Executive Director of FB-ISAO. “The members of FB-ISAO will benefit from access to the ZeroNow Community which is focused on innovation to drive safety in schools and houses of worship. Information sharing coupled with technology innovation will contribute to further enhancing preparedness, security and resilience.”

ZeroNow was founded by technology partners Additional, Axis Communications, Johnson Controls, and Omnilert, along with campus safety nonprofit partners the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA), NASPA (the Association of Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education), Campus Safety Magazine, and VTV Family Outreach Foundation.
