Since its quick launch in March, Evive.Care has been the destination for 70,000+ people to find a COVID-19 testing site near them.

Evive, the leader in digital engagement and communication technology, today announced it has been voted a 2020 Timmy Award winner as Best Tech for Good in Chicago. Evive received tens of thousands of collective votes during the Timmy Awards voting period for its public health resource, Evive.Care—the first national database of COVID-19 testing sites.
Since its quick launch on March 19, 2020, Evive.Care has been the destination for 70,000+ people to find a COVID-19 testing site near them. Users have the ability to search by state and county and, with just one click, get access to a comprehensive list of nearby testing centers—each result accompanied by address, phone number, location type, cost, and instructions to make an appointment. There are nearly 5,000 COVID-19 test centers nationwide identified on Evive.Care today: a significant increase from its original 240 at the time of launch.
Evive has been recognized in the Timmy Awards as making the most notable contributions to the community during these unprecedented times. Finalists from 10 regions will compete to be selected by an expert panel of judges as the national winner of the 2020 Timmy Awards later this month.
“During these trying times, it’s important to recognize the good that we are seeing in our communities,” said Mandy Walker, Executive Director of Marketing of Tech in Motion. “These companies deserve all of this recognition and more for the ways they have leveraged technology and worked alongside their communities to give back or create innovative solutions to the world’s challenges and uncertainties.”
In addition to launching the database for the general public, Evive has been using its digital communication solution, MyEvive, to connect the 4 million+ covered lives on its platform with Evive.Care. The Evive platform’s predictive analytics and robust data capabilities have enabled it to identify individuals who meet high-risk criteria set by the CDC and subsequently send them timely notifications to reinforce relevant resources like Evive.Care and other available benefits through their employers—ultimately promoting population safety in a time when we need it most.
“It is a true honor to receive this recognition. Our team worked tirelessly to make Evive.Care the leading, most up-to-date database of COVID-19 test centers as a way to empower people with the information they need in this time of need,” said Evive CEO and Co-founder Prashant Srivastava. “With the work Evive does every day to guide people to relevant benefits that support better health, it only made sense we would assemble this much-needed public resource in the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic.”
Tech in Motion will host its national awards ceremony virtually on October 29, featuring judges and speakers including Abdul Munda, Head of Engineering at Slack; Bruce Wang, Engineering Director at Netflix; Josh Torres, Chief of Staff at Out in Tech; and Ian Suttle, Engineering Director at Google. The national winners will be revealed in front of finalists, regional winners, and members of the tech community around the nation. The public can RSVP here to attend, and further information can be found on the Timmys website.
