Eric Gang, Author and Veteran Advocate, to Speak at Mensa Annual Gathering

“The MENSA Annual Gathering is the ideal place to present these ideas, since MENSANS can easily connect the dots between military service, the physical and mental health of veterans and the larger impact on society when the VA fails them,” says Gang.

Author, law firm founder and veterans advocate Eric Gang is slated to address MENSA’s Annual Gathering in Baltimore on July 6, 2023.

Conference attendees, all members of the exclusive global community of individuals with top 2% IQs, will have access to Gang’s presentation: “The Psychological & Biological Impacts of War on Veterans”. Drawing on insights from his recent book, Betrayal of Valor: An Exposé of a Horribly Flawed Veteran’s Administration, Gang will address:

  • How the Department of Veterans Affairs’ “delay, deny, wait till they die” scheme denies veterans the resources and support they have rightly earned after fighting for our country
  • How the military sexual trauma epidemic has created a generation of veterans with PTSD, and what that means for our society
  • The long-lasting physical, emotional and social impact of traumatic brain injuries acquired on active duty
  • The tragedy of military toxin exposure and how the VA has failed veterans

An expert on the VA benefits system and the often misunderstood ways trauma manifests in veterans, Gang is a compelling speaker who asks his audience to challenge what they think they know about the veteran experience and the U.S. military.

“The MENSA Annual Gathering is the ideal place to present these ideas, since MENSANS can easily connect the dots between military service, the physical and mental health of veterans and the larger impact on society when the VA fails them,” says Gang. “Their exceptional intellect allows them to deeply consider these issues and clearly see what must be done to resolve them.”

Gang is a frequent media commentator and lecturer on issues affecting veterans, and his work has been featured in the Miami Herald, the Fox Business, and the Sacramento Bee, among others.
