Empower Semiconductor, the world leader in Integrated Voltage Regulators (IVR), today announced the appointment of Trey Roessig, 49, as Chief Technology Officer & SVP Engineering.

Mr. Roessig brings over 20 years of experience and 25 US patents in power and mixed-signal design to the Empower Semiconductor engineering team. Prior to his promotion, Mr. Roessig spearheaded the successful development of Empower’s core technology as SVP of Engineering. Before this he served in senior technology and business roles at Companies such as Integrated Micro Instruments (acquired by Analog Devices) Volterra Semiconductor and ADI. Mr. Roessig holds a Ph.D. in Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley.
