Dr. Berman has spent his entire career dedicated to the recovery of patients with spinal issues and pain.

I know what you’re going through.

It brings us great excitement to introduce Healthpointe’s newest Neurologist, Dr. Blake Berman. Dr. Berman is a board-certified neurosurgeon, who was ranked 1st nationally during his academic residency. His post-graduate training years focused on complex spine and neurologic trauma. He completed his undergraduate work at the University of LaVerne, his medical degree at the Western University of Health Sciences, and his neurosurgical fellowship at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center and San Bernardino County Hospital. He completed his General Surgery Residency at Michigan State University/St. John Oakland General Hospital, and his Neurosurgical Residency at the Arrowhead Regional Medical Center/San Bernardino County Hospital.

Dr. Berman has a unique method when it comes to helping our spine patients, with his, “I know what you’re going through,” approach. In fact, Dr. Berman was a long-time spine patient himself. Extended stays in many hospital rooms brought him great awareness in understanding how doctors treat patients, and in neurology itself. Not only did this pique his interest in neurology, but it gave him experience into how patients with spinal issues truly feel. He knows the impact that these complications can have on someone’s life, as his own injuries caused his career to suffer. In light of this, he also knows what it’s like to get your life back after all of it, and he wants his patients to make that same recovery.

While Dr. Berman has an unmatched passion for his patients, his enthusiasm for his family and music is equally significant. Dr. Berman puts an emphasis on maintaining a work-life-family balance, in which he stresses the importance of maintaining healthy personal relationships, and continuing his pursuit and passion for his music. His family and personal values further benefit our patients, as he holds himself to highest ethical standards and principles. He knows that there can be some unscrupulous physicians in neurological surgeries, but his personal values are consistent with ethical medical practice, and at Healthpointe, he is not only able, but encouraged to abide by his ethics when it comes to patient care. It is through this practice that he is able to “maintain excellence by upholding high cultural, ethical, and professional standards,” and set the example for neurologic professionals. Furthermore, he wants his patients to know that he will be available to them through the entirety of their treatment while providing his best care, as he knows how difficult it is to be a patient with spinal issues.

Dr. Berman will be treating at the Temecula, Perris, Corona, Colton, Ontario offices.
