Dental Care Alliance is pleased to welcome Murfreesboro Oral Surgery & Implant Center to its rapidly growing portfolio of allied practices. With this affiliation, DCA enters the state of Tennessee, expanding its reach to serve families in 22 states.
Founded in 1998 and led by Dr. David Spivey, Murfreesboro Oral Surgery (MOS) is a highly regarded single-location oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located in Central Tennessee, approximately 37 miles southeast of Nashville. The practice relocated to its current, newly constructed facility in 2020, and welcomed Dr. Ross Fahey as an associate in 2021.
MOS specializes in wisdom teeth extractions, dental implants, bone grafting, pre-prosthetic surgery, facial trauma, and oral pathology. The team at MOS takes great pride in providing the best oral surgical care possible. The surgical assistants have 90 years of combined experience in delivering exceptional, patient-centered oral surgery support.
“I am so excited about my partnership with DCA,” said Dr. Spivey. “In recent years, running an oral surgery practice has become more and more complex; and I found myself spending nights and weekends taking care of the managerial aspects of the business such as payroll, paying bills, HR, and whatever else needed to be done. With DCA on board, I can now focus more on taking care of my patients, which is what is most important and what I love to do.”
This affiliation continues DCA’s rapid growth this year, brings the total number of allied practices to more than 380, and expands DCAs footprint into the state of Tennessee. “Dr. Spivey and the team at Murfreesboro Oral Surgery & Implant Center epitomize the ideal partner for DCA…a practice at its peak, steadfast in its treatment of patients, and focused on continuing its growth trajectory; but wanting a strong and experienced partner to help take the practice to the next level,” shared Mike Calder, DCP VP Business Development. “DCA couldn’t be more excited to enter its 22nd state alongside the team at MOS.”
Dental Care Alliance’s mission is to advance the practice of dentistry by partnering with and supporting dental professionals to create a lifetime of healthy smiles. DCA currently supports over 390 allied practices with more than 775 dentists across 22 states. DCA’s allied practices represent all dental specialties and treat patients under more than 140 brand names.
