“Our same-day crown service offers patients a dramatically different experience,” Dr. Miller explains. Traditional crowns are a two-step process, with an initial appointment to prepare the tooth and take impressions. The patient leaves wearing a temporary crown and returns for a second appointment weeks later to remove the temporary and place the permanent crown.

With same-day crowns, the tooth is prepped, impressions are taken using a 3D digital scanner, and the crown is fabricated in-house and placed in the same visit. Same-day crowns are made with a high-quality tooth-colored material. Patients leave the office with a permanent crown that looks and feels like a natural tooth.

Donald W. Miller earned his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry degree from the University of Connecticut before going on to a residency in Advanced Cosmetic & Surgical Dentistry at the University of North Carolina.

Dr. Donald Miller has extensive experience in surgical implant procedures and cosmetic restorations as well as providing his patients with general and family dentistry.
