In an effort to further define the correlation between climate change and radon gas, CR3 launched a publication dedicated to making it clear that radon gas is affected by climate change.

The 2022 November issue of CR3 News Magazine offers a strong look at some of the climate change variations and how they potentially increase radon levels. Driven by scientific studies gleaned from the science and health investigators who provided the ground research and industry experience, CR3 News Magazine encourages readers to take action through the use of audio, video and articles.

“When people make the statement that climate change is a political issue, then we have missed our target“ says Jackie Nixon, Dir. Mktg and Communications. “Maybe we need to rethink how we are educating people about radon with respect to climate change. What we are saying may not be effective enough. The November issue of the magazine explains the radon/climate change connection through a collection of articles that address seasonal concerns such as winter, hurricanes, permafrost, water contamination, wildfires, and volcanoes. The key takeaway? … Testing your property for radon is important in the fight to reduce lung cancer.
