Author Kenny Noble Cortes shares his testimony of Christian service while struggling with addiction in Culture Jock: One Foot in the World, One Foot in the Church($29.99, paperback, 9781662834448; $9.99, e-book, 9781662834455).

Through years as a radio personality and Christian music artist, Cortes was forced to face that he was not immune from the temptations and struggles that confront other men. With his marriage on the line and his faith on the rocks, he had to come to terms with daily surrender to Jesus Christ

“I have been blessed with so many different ‘adventures’ during my 43-year broadcast career. I have also been an alcoholic for much of that time. It is my hope that people may learn from my mistakes; perhaps enough to save a broken relationship. It is for believers who want to make the most of their relationship,” said Cortes.

Kenny Noble Cortes is an American radio personality, musician, and prolific Christian songwriter. He served on a variety of radio stations over the years, including K-LOVE and Air1. After stepping down from K-LOVE and retiring from radio in the fall of 2016, was invited to become the acoustic guitarist for the Christian rock band, Renewed.
