ChenMed, a leading provider of primary care for underserved, Medicare-eligible seniors in 10 states, launches a new podcast today, Wednesday, March 3, 2021, called “Faisel & Friends: A ChenMed Podcast.” The first episode, streaming live at 8 p.m. (ET), on ChenMed YouTube, Facebook and Twitter channels, will feature special guest Robert Pearl, M.D. The topic is the strong tie between doctor happiness and patient health.

Named one of Modern Healthcare’s 50 most influential physician leaders, Dr. Pearl is a plastic surgeon, medical school professor, best-selling author and former chief executive officer of The Permanente Medical Group. He serves as clinical professor of plastic surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine, is on the faculty of Stanford’s Graduate School of Business and is a frequent contributor to Forbes.
Dr. Pearl’s latest book, “Uncaring – How the Culture of Medicine Kills Doctors and Patients,” is scheduled for release May 18, 2021.
