“What dealer wouldn’t want to make extra money every month without having to do anything more than they are already doing?” Ken Shaw, Vice President of Sales, CellGate

This week cellular access control product manufacturer, CellGate, is launching a football-themed Shared Revenue Program to security industry dealers and installers. The new Program is just one component of CellGate’s year-long “This Changes Everything” marketing campaign that is a reference to the cumulative impact of the long list of new products, features and programs CellGate is introducing throughout 2020.

The Shared Revenue Program was developed by CellGate’s President, Noel Gouldin and the Vice President of Sales, Ken Shaw. Their goal was to create a simple, fun and easy-to-explain program that would highly incentivize dealers and installers in the fence and gate industry to sell CellGate systems over competitor systems.

With CellGate’s new Shared Revenue Program, dealers will accumulate monthly service revenue dollars with every CellGate system they sell. The more features and functionality desired in the system by the end user, the higher their monthly service revenue tends to be.

Once a dealer reaches $1,000 in ongoing monthly service revenue due to their cumulative CellGate system sales, they will earn a 5% cash back check every month. Once they reach $2,000 in ongoing monthly service revenues, they will receive 10% of those monies back in a check every month. Already-in-service systems sold do count towards monthly minimums, and once monthly minimum thresholds are met, revenue share includes both already-in-service products and newly installed products. Revenue share will be paid for 5 years starting 6/1/2020 for already-in-service systems; and will be shared for 5 years from activation date for devices activated after 6/1/2020.

Shaw says that few other access control product manufacturers even offer a Shared Revenue Program, and of those that do, many of their programs are so complicated that dealers aren’t motivated to change their selling behaviors. “In order for us to reach our sales goals, we need highly motivated dealers and installers that will prioritize offering CellGate products over competitor’s products,” said Shaw. “We already knew that our product features and functionality should get us to the front of the sales line as it is, but to incentivize people to prioritize selling our products over those that they may have been selling for years, we had to make it an easy financial decision for them as well. CellGate’s new Shared Revenue Program does that because it puts more money back in a dealer’s pocket after selling a very attainable number of CellGate systems. What dealer wouldn’t want to make extra money every month without having to do anything more than they are already doing?”

Gouldin agreed, and is excited to see how industry distributors, dealers and installers are going to react to the meaningful shared revenue percentages offered under CellGate’s Shared Revenue program. “As we launch our Shared Revenue Program this week, we already have dealers that can begin to receive money immediately because of the CellGate sales they have already generated,” said Gouldin, “and we can’t wait to see their reactions when they learn about the program and how much money they are going to get back.” “Like our 2020 marketing tagline says ‘This Changes Everything’ because we now have the best incentive program for dealers and installers to partner with CellGate and sell our products. Who doesn’t want to get a minimum of $50/month of mailbox money each and every month that goes straight to the bottom line? I don’t know any savvy business person that would walk away from that.”

CellGate is launching their Shared Revenue Program with email blasts to their dealer base, in industry publications and through direct sales initiatives. To learn more about CellGate, visit http://www.cell-gate.com.
