The weather did not put a damper on the celebration at the children’s dental center’s first birthday party held on July 10th. A few changes and the party was moved inside.

Visiting patients, parents and the public enjoyed games like ring toss, Jenga and bags, face painting, photo booth fun and of course birthday treats and party favors. The staff joined in the fun right along with the visitors at the photo booth area and even celebrating with their own smash cake.

Door prizes included a new bike and three spin brush bundles. Prizes went to Jasmine Tsang winning the new bike and Naomi Williams, Rhett Schneider, and Sophia Seaman receiving spin brush bundles.

“I’ve always had a passion for working with children, especially those with special healthcare needs. I look forward to meeting you!” states Dr. Jenn Feingold, the pediatric dentist at the children’s dental center.

the children’s dental center opened on July 13, 2020, and is part of the dental campus along with The Family Dental Center and The Family Dental Center – Orthodontics. The dental campus provides dental care for the entire family along with the benefit of being in the same footprint.

Visitors and new patients are always welcome to stop by for a tour of the clinic and learn more about all the pediatric services available. For those with more extensive treatment needs, Dr. Feingold has Mercy privileges to treat patients in the OR under general anesthesia at Mercy Hospital in Iowa City.
