Isaac Montaño Jr.’s newly released “Salvation Comes from the LORD” is a powerful memoir of the author’s journey of conversion and purpose inspired by God’s grace

News Image

“Salvation Comes from the LORD”: an enthralling book filled with the author’s real-life circumstances of sin and repentance after meeting God in his life. “Salvation Comes from the LORD” is the creation of published author Isaac Montaño Jr., a born-again Christian and a loving family man.

Montaño Jr. shares, “Isaac Montaño Jr., as a child, deviated from the promising future provided by his parents. One day, his life would terribly change for the worse. His childhood dreams and aspirations were shattered; his innocence was lost. He survived many brushes with death during the drug and alcohol addiction that plagued his life for over thirty years. God’s grace was evident as he revealed himself numerous times. In his rebellion toward God, he was allowed to suffer the consequences of his sinful life—from innocent lies to murder––which cost him over three decades of his life as a prisoner in the New Mexico Corrections Department.

“One day in desperation, he responded to God’s call and had a personal encounter with Christ. Although he previously made terrible mistakes that changed the course of his life for worse, he repented and became an evangelist for Christ. His new life is dedicated to serve God’s purpose with wholehearted devotion.

“In this book, he shares some of the most memorable events of his life; though some situations he deeply regrets and wishes never happened, he believes most are the blessed result of his surrender to the Lord. God has a plan for every individual. A plan to change the course of your life and translate you from death into his eternal glory. After you read this book, if you choose to receive Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior…you will experience the greatest miracle ever, the salvation of your soul, and an abundance of blessings.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Isaac Montaño Jr.’s new book is truly an exemplary testimony of a man’s holistic change in life after receiving forgiveness and solace from God.

Readers will find their hearts uplifted as they witness the author’s tell-all story of salvation and healing from sin and depravity.

Premier Installers Now Offer RedClay Pro Brand Courts: Fast-Dry, Star-Trac, Carter

Boyne Mtn. Resort, Michigan

RedClay Pro®: “hard” porous base, covered in traditional crushed topping! All imported.

RedClay Pro® courts – “Engineered from Germany” – are now available from several major court installers across the U.S., including Fast-Dry Courts and 10-S Tennis Supply, of Florida.

“Fast-Dry Courts is excited to partner with RCUSA in the Florida and Caribbean market to bring a new and proven pervious red clay product to our clients and prospects,” says Todd Dettor, Vice President, Fast-Dry Courts, and 10-S Tennis Supply.

“RedClay Pro® is the 21st century “hard” court for America – – it just happens to be made of real clay. It’s a ‘hard’ court designed to slide on,“ states Brian Osterberg, CEO, RedClay USA, “and we’re pleased to be working now with Fast-Dry and a growing list of very reputable installing companies.”

Star-Trac of Michigan President Rick Daughtery says, “The RC Pro courts are the perfect solution to the old problem of knowing clay is better and healthier to learn and play on, but until now not available or affordable to all tennis players.”

Carter Construction of Texas and Zaino Tennis of California are other installers now working with RedClay USA for indoor or outdoor versions of the virtually maintenance-free proprietary RedClay Pro courts.

Built with a paved rigid layer of crushed scrap clay, bound in a cured binder – it’s a smooth porous surface, needing no compaction like traditional clay. The paved base layer is ‘hard’, yet so porous it can’t get saturated/soft or even puddle water on the surface. It’s always ready for play immediately after rain. It provides a perfectly flat sliding base when covered with regular clay topping- – the same used on every court in Europe.

No compaction is EVER needed, and no continuous upkeep or manual labor. Practically indestructible, you can drive a truck on it, and need only keep moist during play. Indoors – NO water is ever used, as a “treated” topping keeps “moist”. Play pickleball on it too.

“RC Pro answers Rafa Nadal’s recent call for experts to develop improved surfaces that don’t destroy your joints,” says Osterberg. RCPro is ITF Speed Rated 1 for slow clay surface and is the official court of the WTA’s Porsche Grand Prix tournament. RC Pro replaces asphalt or concrete hardcourts as the affordable clay surface for beginners to pros.

Palmetto Tennis Center of Sumter, SC has broken ground on its eight new RC Pro courts at their 24 court facility and expect completion by next spring.

Randy Tomlin’s newly released “Outside Memories” is a brave reveal into a journey of struggle, abuse, trauma, and healing

News Image

“Outside Memories”: a poignant account that journals victory against emotional and mental suffering, temptations of suicide, failed relationships, and traumatic circumstances brought by God’s healing grace. “Outside Memories” is the creation of published author Randy Tomlin, a writer who lives in Gresham, Oregon. He has written two plays, which have been produced, and he loves to write Christian music as a hobby. He is working on a number of short stories he hopes to one day have published.

Tomlin shares, “Raised in a time when little was known about learning disabilities, severe ADHD, or bipolar disorder. When counseling was only available to the wealthy and there were no terms or understanding for such things as ‘dysfunctional families,’ ‘survivor’s guilt,’ or ‘post-traumatic stress disorder.’

“Randy Tomlin learned to survive. He survived emotional abuse, two attempts at suicide, broken marriages, and being held at gunpoint while his girlfriend was raped. He surrendered to God and eventually, as counseling became more available, Randy was encouraged to journal his story and the healing journey really began.”

Published by Christian Faith Publishing, Randy Tomlin’s new book is a triumphant tale of laying down one’s trust to God to break away from the darkest corners of life.

Randy’s journey pulled him to the pits in a spiraling downfall, yet he managed to hear God’s call and now he’s inviting everyone to rise in faith.

Melwood Neurodiverse Employment Conference Series Marks 75th Anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)

News Image

“COVID-19 has awakened many of us to the challenges of unemployment, from economic struggle to loss of identity. NDEAM gives us a chance to highlight the burdens faced by people with disabilities,” said Melwood’s Interim President and CEO, Larysa Kautz.

To mark the 75th anniversary of National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM), Melwood is hosting the 2020 Neurodiverse Employment Conference, consisting of 16 interactive virtual sessions scheduled weekly from October through December. As one of the nation’s largest nonprofits addressing disability employment and as one of the region’s largest employers of people with disabilities, Melwood is committed to creating a more inclusive world by helping employers embrace neurodiversity – the variation in how we learn and process information.

While representing a large segment of the population – the CDC estimates that 1 in 4 Americans is living with a disability and that nearly 11% of Americans are affected by a cognitive or neurodevelopmental disability – people with disabilities are disproportionately affected by unemployment and underemployment.

“COVID-19 has awakened many of us to the challenges of unemployment from economic struggle to loss of identity. National Disability Employment Awareness Month gives us a chance to highlight the additional burdens faced by people with disabilities not only in this current climate but in general. With this event, we aim to break down barriers and build the infrastructure of inclusion,” said Melwood’s Interim President and CEO, Larysa Kautz.

The 16 free virtual sessions bring together prominent business leaders, policymakers, researchers, assistive technology companies and disability advocates to share best practices to strengthen our efforts to train, hire and retain people with disabilities, including veterans. All sessions are free and open to the public. For more information or to register, go to http://www.Melwood.org/events1
